Phew! We just arrived back up north after a multi-state whirlwind tour of the midwest. We hit Green Bay, Madison, Iowa City, Pella, Des Moines, Ankeny, Clear Lake, Owatonna, Duluth & Superior and are finally going to be stationary for a while, whooooo. We also hit one amusement park, a state fair, a county fair, and two waterparks along the way and have a ton of pictures. Here are a few from GB & Madison to start out.
We went to Bay Beach while we were in Green Bay – it’s an amusement park on the shore of Green Bay. It doesn’t have any huge rides or roller coasters but it is a GB tradition and tickets for the rides are still only $.25. Compare that to $3 or more at the fairs we went to – not a bad deal at all!

These next few are in Madison on the Terrace at the Memorial Union – one of the coolest places to sit and read/have a beer/hang out/see a show there is. These chairs are icons around Madison – just seeing one brings back a ton of memories.
The Red Gym in Madison. One of my favorite buildings on campus – it’s got awesome iron-banded wooden doors and tons of cool nooks and crannies all around it.
