My poor little Milo had himself his first bad accident on Monday – he was playing on the steps to the porch when he missed his footing and went down, banging his face on the step on the way down and releasing an incredible amount of blood. I ran over and picked him up &…

I was just getting ready to call you to find out about your ER comment on Twitter–Poor little Milo and stressed MOM.
It was a tough few hours for sure but he bounced back SO fast, it’s really amazing!
oh my God! that is a REAL accident. i’m happy to hear / read that everything turned out okay though. jeeze-lou-eeze! how scary for you (milo probably didn’t even know he was supposed to be scared – thank god for that). poor Milo. hey, chicks dig scars, right? wishing you a speedy recovery mr.Milo (although, sounds like you’re healing just fine!)

Michelle – yeah, it was pretty much the scariest thing ever to pick him up and see SO MUCH blood coming out of his mouth. I couldn’t even tell what was hurt – if he had broken a tooth or bit his tongue or what. Thank goodness we have a great hospital with a wonderful staff so close to us!

Congrats! This is a wonderful image, I love the sky and the flare, very well done!

Omg! These are great! I LOVE the comforter!
Thanks Leanne! They’ve been a ton of fun to make.
Cute stuff! The fabrics have a 40s flavor.
(for straight lines, a pencil line makes a good guide and gets hidden in the stitches. I never wanted to slow down for that stuff either.)
Oooo, good idea about just drawing a line, duh. I just got a fabric pen, so next time I should be all set.
Great set of images, the shallow depth of field really works well.
