This weekend I had the distinct pleasure of shooting a maternity session with the lovely Amy and her husband, Nate. They are due in just four weeks with their first baby and were really excited to document this phase in their life. We shot around the square in Jackson – Amy is from Chicago and wanted to keep a bit of an urban feel (well, as urban as you can get in a town of 10,000!) to the shoot.
We wandered the alleys around the square and found some interesting backdrops.
I love that we also managed to find a nautical looking area for a shoot in the Tetons.
One massive advantage to shooting on a Sunday morning? There is NO ONE else around. We had the candy store all to ourselves!
I picked the Wonder Woman lunchbox. Amy went for a music classic with the Beatles.
This one makes me want to be pregnant again!
Congratulations to Nate & Amy and I can’t wait to meet your little girl!!!!

Tonee - I LOVE your style girl!! and salt water taffy is my faaaaaaaaaaaaaavorite! I just love this session it’s so great, and her button is so cute! I miss pregnancy- sometimes!
TJ McDowell - We always do our maternity sessions here at the studio – on location looks kinda fun. I think we’ve done every other type of session on location except for maternity. Maybe our moms to be would rather have their belly sticking out in our studio instead of having an audience =)
