  • Hi there!

I started photographing weddings a few years ago and absolutely fell in love. It is so humbling to be invited to share such a personal look at one of the most amazing and unforgettable days in a person's life. I especially love weddings because there is so much going on and so much raw emotion - I'm on my toes all day, capturing it all. It's one of those jobs where you are so sore the next day but feel light as air while you're shooting. It's amazing, and I hope I get to do it for the rest of my life. I'm currently based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and am available for worldwide travel. Please 101,109,97,105,108,32,109,101em liame with any questions you have about photography for your special day.

parade

This year I went to the Victor 4th of July parade for the first time ever and had a blast. The weather was just perfect and it was so fun to take Milo to his first parade. I took a ton of pictures – here’s a few of my favorites.

Yup, lawnmowers. Later in the afternoon, they had races. Photos of that to come.

kate - Milo is so precious! I love your pics too :)

katy - Thank you Kate! I just checked out your blog – you do some amazing work!! I’ve added your feed to my list of blogs to stalk. :)

Johanna - WHEN are we gonna have a play date so you can take photos this awesome of my kid? :-) That one of his face with a green hoodie on is the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. His eyes are so blue, and he just looks so wise all the time. Not to mention his hip, mod gear– that polkadot sleeper is awesome! I like your steez, Milo.

katy - yes yes yes we’d love a playdate with Desi! We’ll definitely have to set something up, I haven’t seen you in WAY too long. Like, since the kids were what, 6 weeks old? Madness. And photos of the two of them together would be cuteness that would rule the world.

Thanks for the mad props, btw! The polkadot sleeper is from Zutano, I love their stuff. I think they carry it at Teton Kids in town, but I most likely got it online somewhere.

early evening

Tonight on my way home Milo and I met up with Nate at our friend Emma’s house to hang out for a bit and watch the dogs wrestle. It was a beautiful evening and so nice to just sit outside and enjoy the fresh air with good friends.

poppies & around town

This morning Milo and I headed out for a quick walk/nap (guess who did which?) around town. I’ve been meaning to get some pictures of the poppies for a while now and since we’ve finally gotten a day that is both a) nice and b) doesn’t have me sick as a dog, I figured that it was the perfect chance.

Johanna - LOVE the shots. The first poppy image is awesome! They last such a short time, compared to how long they hang out in your flower bed… I’ve never planted any, but tended some for a few years.

katy - Thanks Jo! They are all over the place in Victor right now. There are some pink ones that just started blooming right down the street from us, I’m going to try to shoot those this weekend.

blocks

I am toying with the idea of spelling out Milo’s name above his bed. Yes, I know it’s been done before….but not by me, so therefore it is new! Heh. Anyway, so far these are the two ideas I like best. Actually, they’re pretty much the same idea, just different implementations. The other idea I have is more of a found letters project, where anytime I see a cool letter that is in Milo’s name, I shoot it and get a print made. That way it is ever-changing, which is sort of neat. But anyway, this is what I have for now. Thoughts, ideas, ice cream treats?
