Welcome to the blog!

Kendra & Kyle // Linn Canyon Ranch

Kendra & Kyle were married in early June over at the Linn Canyon Ranch in Victor, Idaho. I love shooting over there since the golden hour lasts foreeeeeeeever (it's on the other side of the Tetons which = really long sunsets). They had an intimate affair with just close family and friends followed by a cocktail hour on the lawn and a lovely dinner.

Sara & Adam // Jackson Hole wedding photographer

I love this wedding so much. Adam and Sara are both such wonderful people - laid back, fun to be around, and half of them could defuse a bomb if the situation called for it. They met on Match.com in the Chicago area and it just worked. Adam proposed and they decided on Jackson (their eventual retirement dream location - these two are definitely planners!) for the wedding and I'm so glad that they did.

Adam & Jodie // Jackson Hole proposal photographer

Last summer I got an email from Adam with a unique idea - he wanted to propose to his wife of 20 years. Err...what? Turns out they were super young when they first got married and couldn't afford an engagement ring. It wasn't anything Jodie asked for, but he thought it would be the best anniversary present he could give her. We met up at Mormon Row on the pretense of doing a regular portrait shoot as their anniversary present and about halfway through he got down on one knee.

Aren't they cute? I love this shot.

Jodie was absolutely stunned. Who expects an engagement ring when you're already married? Huge props to Adam for thinking of it and making it happen!

The only issue was Jodie couldn't stop laughing and crying after he proposed. It's a good problem to have.
